Final Act of the Clean Cities Spain ClimAccelerator: Demo Day in Madrid! - SaferPlaces

The Clean Cities Spain ClimAccelerator culminated in a Demo Day at International Lab in Madrid, on the 7th March 2024!

The program, delivered by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid with EIT Climate-KIC support, assisted 9 European start-ups focusing on the impact of climate change in urban areas.

The initiative targets start-ups that are developing system-level innovations centered on transforming city systems to become climate neutral—from mobility to waste, energy to health, and the built environment.

SaferPlaces was one of the selected startup, and after working together with knowledgeable mentors and fellow entrepreneurs for 4 months, we had the opportunity to pitch our climate solutions during the Demo Day.

The event counted with inspiring introductory speeches from representatives of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, EIT Climate-KIC Spain, the City Hall of Madrid, as well as a General Partner of Zero Carbon Capital.

Overall, the day was focused on fostering connections among start-ups, investors, and corporates through the engagement in dynamic networking sessions to explore potential collaborations.

GECOSISTEMA SRL (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates saferplaces.co and platform.saferplaces.co and saferplaces mobile application (hereinafter referred to as “Service”).

Our Privacy Policy governs your visit to saferplaces.co and platform.saferplaces.co and saferplaces mobile application, and explains how we collect, safeguard and disclose information that results from your use of our Service.

SERVICE means the saferplaces.co and platform.saferplaces.co website and saferplaces mobile application operated by GECOSISTEMA SRL

USAGE DATA is data collected automatically either generated by the use of Service or from Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

We may disclose personal information that we collect, or you provide:

11. Your Data Protection Rights under the California Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)

CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. According to CalOPPA we agree to the following:

(b) our Privacy Policy link includes the word “Privacy”, and can easily be found on the page specified above on the home page of our website;

Our Policy on “Do Not Track” Signals:
