SaferPlaces was selected to participate in the first edition of the prestigious PwC Fintech Startup Accelerator Program. This program, designed to nurture and accelerate the growth of fintech startups, culminated in a final Pitch Day at the PwC Tower in Milan, on the 21st of June 2024.

Sponsored by PwC, the accelerator program aims to foster innovative ideas at the intersection of finance and technology. It provides startups with a unique opportunity to consolidate their understanding of key fintech trends, identify growth opportunities, and gain access to PwC’s extensive network of industry contacts.

Throughout the program, SaferPlaces, along with other 8 selected startups, benefited from over 30 hours of masterclasses, workshops, and one-on-one mentoring sessions. These sessions were led by more than 10 professionals from diverse and multidisciplinary teams, offering specialized resources, expertise, and advice crucial for business development and growth.

The program provided a well-defined growth and mentoring path based on market best practices. PwC professionals guided and supported us throughout the journey, sharing in-depth knowledge and specialized expertise. The PwC’s fintech ecosystem provided us a significant boost to perfect our solution, open up new markets, and foster sustained business growth. This environment, rich in resources, strategic collaborations, and expert knowledge will undoubtedly help us consolidate our market position and reach new levels of success.

The program concluded with a final Pitch Day at the PwC Tower in Milan, where we presented our innovative flood risk assessment platform to a panel of experts and industry leaders. This opportunity allowed us to showcase our unique solution and highlight its potential impact on the fintech and EO sectors.
