We are thrilled to announce our victory at the DestinE Platform Launchpad Contest, a milestone that strengthens our mission to turn advanced climate data into actionable, decision-ready insights.

Destination Earth (DestinE) is a flagship initiative of the European Commission to develop a highly-accurate digital model of the Earth (a digital twin of the planet) to model, monitor and simulate natural phenomena, hazards and the related human activities, with the aim to better anticipate and manage climate and environmental risks.

Held as part of DestinE growing innovation ecosystem and powered by Serco and OVHcloud, the Launchpad Contest asked startups to do something deceptively hard: take advanced environmental and climate data (often complex, technical, and difficult to operationalise) and turn it into tools people can actually use to make better decisions.

Being selected to contribute to the ambitious DestinE initiative is an incredible honor. This opportunity will allow us to bring SaferPlaces’ Flood Risk Intelligence, powered by Agentic AI and Digital Twin technologies, into the DestinE ecosystem.

Our focus is simple: bridge the gap between the complexity of environmental data and real-world decision-making. Faster, clearer flood scenario simulations can support urban planning, emergency management, and resilience strategies for cities, businesses, and insurers.

A sincere thank you goes to the organizers and partners who made this possible: OVHcloud Serco Atos European Space Agency – ESA European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts – ECMWF, and to all the startups involved.

The energy and collaboration across this community is a powerful reminder: the future is resilient!
